ALEXANDER MAY

Creative director, designer, and curator with a background rooted in fine art and sculpture, Alexander May leads a multidisciplinary practice focused on product design, spatial storytelling, interior environments, and the curation of exhibitions and immersive brand experiences.

Trained as a visual artist (MFA Sculpture, Bard College; BFA, School of the Art Institute of Chicago), May has developed a sculptural approach to design that emphasizes material, form, and narrative. His work spans furniture and objects, interior spaces, and site-specific installations—merging functional design with a conceptual framework.

He is the founder of SIZED and Fondazione Converso, two platforms that extend his curatorial work and support collaborative projects with artists, designers, and cultural institutions. Independently, he works closely with clients across fashion, hospitality, and design to shape thoughtful, visually driven experiences.

May has led creative projects for Dries Van Noten, SKIMS, Rick Owens, Yola Mezcal, Costa Brazil, SSENSE, and Pierre Augustin Rose, among others. Whether developing collectible products, reimagining physical spaces, or crafting visual strategy, his work reflects a distinct balance of restraint, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
